I want to eat your pancreas
Written By Dee Dee
While the title of this film does make it sound like a tale as old as time, boy meets girl, falls in love, eats her pancreas.
That classic love story. If that’s what you want, this isn’t the film for you, I’m sorry.
This film is less Father beans and a nice Khanty in the silence of lamb’s style and more “Fault in our stars”. Down to the girl’s diary having an overly pretentious title – “Living with Dying” SIDE NOTE great name for a heavy metal album.
In the hour and forty-minute run time you essentially have a long collection of a teenage girl’s tumbler posts in quotes scattered through out the film
“Each day is worth just as much as the one before it that’s why the value of today doesn’t change based on how I spent my time”.
“If I got cremated, how would you eat my pancreas?”
The best scene in the film is a section dedicated to her saying how much she loves eating animal organs.
“Hey Mr, more stomach and heart meat please”
10/10 I loved it………. For all the wrong reasons
